就当我自私, 只想跟能 "迁就" 我的人.. 但"迁就" 了又不对..为什么幸福却又不快乐?

Been spending a lot nowadays and I’m officially broke, $0. I don’t have much income so it’s going to take me a very long period of time before I can start saving again. I'm so tight up with money.

As a friend, I think it’s time for me to leave. I will not go beyond what I’m not supposed to do because you don’t need me doing so. For the past few days, I can see and feel for myself that I’m not anything special to you at all..

My first attempt at Ice Skating

It’s Yang zi’s birthday celebration today, everyone turned up and we went for Ice skating. I had never Ice skated in my life before but I still decided to give it a try. After I’m done with my skating shoe, and the moment I had it landed on the ice, I know it’s not going to be easy for me. It’s so slippery!!

I'm feeling so unstable and insecure, I kept on telling Ai Zhen, skating just a few distances away in front of me, that I wanted to leave the ice very much. So basically I just skate and stop skate and stop, with my mouth repeating the same sentence every single sec. You know, Ice skating had this rule of skating in the same direction with the flow so I had a hard time Struggling myself to finish that one round and finally to the exit. It feels so good to be standing on the ground again…!

I then sat beside Joyce watched the rest of them to skate instead. Anyway, I think I ~~walked~~ skated only 2 round in total. I'm really too afraid to go for a 3rd round. Aww… I’m so timid. Hopefully I can try it some other time when I’m more mentally prepared. :x

Can I have a longer break?

Today it’s Huixian’s birthday. I did enjoy the lunch with the birthday girl and Xiumei at Nex Mall Swensen even though the food taste kinda bad. I had a hard time finishing up the fish when fish suppose to be my favorite, as well as the laksa pasta, it stinks, really feel like brushing my teeth on the spot. While I’m still struggling with the stink, X.m eventually gobbled up all the dishes (Except roasted chicken). I had tried my best. :|

x.m’s in-law happens to visit her today so both of us decided to set off for dessert at Hougang Mall after escorting x.m home. The birthday girl then went for another round of birthday celebration with her friends while I headed home since my tuition got cancelled. I did not finish up that jiggles Herbal Jelly of mine...Seriously, I had no idea what’s exactly in my stomach, it felt so empty yet bloated the same time.

...I feel like taking M.c tomorrow, but I know I can’t and I won't. I’m starting to hate the everyday things I'm doing right now, it's like leading an aimlessly life.. ): Heading to bed.

My Niece, Serene

A very big “Hi” to all big Kor Kor and Jie Jie, My name is Serene and I am now 4 months old. My hobby is drinking milk and sleeping soundly for almost 22 hours a day? I can’t tell you my exact sleeping hours but the reason I woke up is because I know it’s eating time. Hee hee.

Everyone around me had been making funny faces like “peek-a-boo”, even though it’s about the same old pattern every single time they do it, but I will still smile at them in return to show how appreciated I am.

Ermm.. I’m not sure what that thing called, I once heard Mummy calling it as “camel”..? It’s something square/rectangular shaped and can be of any colors.. Whenever someone holds that stuff up in front of me, I will have to smile and pose sweetly. After that, they will start giggling away and saying words like…“So cube”..?? Occasionally, I will hear them says “tae a gain, tae a gain” then expecting me to pose once more.. Hmmm… Weird.

I’m quite surprise because the students actually dance and sings the song by themselves every now and then today, they are all improving very fast and well for their year end performance, fantastic! All right, here’s an interesting stuff to share… Below are some art work done by age 3 children using Ice Cream Sticks. There are boats, houses, butterfly etc… but…

Gabrielle was working hard on her art piece too by sticking three ice creams stick together and consider work done. So, the teacher asked her what is it and she kept on saying “Three..Three..”. The teacher was like "huhh?? ".

I can Dance

Teacher Zhang and I are preparing the students for their year end concert performance. We changed some of the steps in this video and guess what? I’m now practicing with the children at least 20 min every day. Since there’s some changes in the steps so for now, they don’t have to follow the video anymore but me instead. Hehe.

The pictures are some art work which my students and I learnt from Teacher Zhang. The white cat done by me and every cat have different expression! Some cats have twisted whiskers and some even have eyebrow! Cats have eyebrow?! Cute right..HAHAHA!!

It has been a weeks since I started working as an assistant teacher in a childcare pre-school. The Principal, staffs, teachers and aunties there are all friendly and really nice people to work with. I woke up in a happy mood almost every single day, looking forward seeing those students (Age 4) in “Grape Class” in the morning and “Pear or Orange Class”, age 2 to 3 Years old in the afternoon.

Wen Ze would always give me a morning hug, Joshua and Kamin not sleeping during nap time, Damien holding my hand wanting a merry go round, Gabrielle clinging onto me like a koala bear and a lot more adorable childrens. Of course, they can be mischievous at times… I still remember I was coaxing Kamin to sleep but she covered my body with her blanket gently, patted my arm asking me to sleep instead. Lol. Funny little girl.

Grace 21st birthday celebration

I’m so looking forward for today, maybe better than Grace because it will be my second visit to Sentosa. As usual, the birthday girl was busy entertaining every guest so I and my friends decided to went up to her chalet room, enjoying the air-con right after we had our stomach filled while she gets busy downstairs.

There’s something I find it funny. Grace had this polaroid camera and the picture come out great for any friends she took with but not me. We must have taken more than 3 times and finally decided to give up trying, haha. I don’t know whether it’s the problem of the photographer or is it us. Thinking back, there’s so much empty spaces here and there causing the photo to looks so imperfect, Hmmm… must be the photographer then! Lol.

I've been congratulating her that she had finally catch up with my age but somehow, she reminded me that I’m already 22, so there’s no way she'll be catching up mine. Tsk.

Say “No” to this 7 actions after you have a meal

1) Don’t smoke.
Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after a meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer are higher).

2) Don’t eat fruit immediately.
Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2hr after meal or 1hr before meal.

3) Don’t drink tea.
Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.

4) Don’t loosen your belt.
Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted and blocked.

5) Don’t bathe.
Bathing after meal will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs and body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This wills slower down the digestive system in our stomach.

6) Don’t walk about.
People always say that after a meal, “walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99”. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system not being able to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.

7) Don’t sleep immediately.
The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus leading to gastric and infection in our intestine.

I went to “The Prata Place”, located at a corner end/front along Upper Thomson Road. The shop is much neater and comfortable maybe because it’s air-conditioned? Food is definitely tastier comparing to “The Roti Prata House” which is located at upper Thomson Road too (“The Roti Prata House” is a total horror for me! I can’t stand the pool of oil under the prata on my plate, Yucks!).

After tasting the prata at “The prata Place”, it did make me feel that all the prata I had before in my life are a ton of rubbish. The price might be a bit higher comparing to other “Normal” shop out there but it worth the price as the portion are much bigger as you can see for yourself in the above picture.

One Singapore

It’s now 3AM and finally Channel NewsAsia had announced all the votes. WP won 1 GRC and 1 SMC in the parliament while the rest goes to PAP. The total votes for PAP this year is 60.1%, which is the lowest since independent, hopefully PAP hear our voice and I do hope that Miss Nicole Seah will have a seat in the Non-constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP), a opportunity to showcase her talent. I’m proud of Aljunied and Hougang residents but sad that Mr Chiam See Tong did not win the election and also Mr George Yeo, our Foreign Minister. I personally think this year election is not a very good one because nothing much changed and yet we had lost Mr George Yeo as our Foreign Minister.

I wonder why can’t all the opposition party come together as one? Perhaps all the other strong and capable candidate from the opposition party can unite and form one party instead of so many other which I can’t even remember their name. Well, now that the result are out, we should all just accept it. No matter which party wins, we should all stay together as one Singapore.

2011 Coming Election 1

When I’m still a kid, I had no idea what election is all about and I find it not just boring but troublesome. As I grow up, my mindset changed. This year will be my first time voting in an election and I’m happy that I’m able to participate.

For the past 5years, I personally think that spending 283 million more for YOG (total cost about 387 million) is really too exaggerate. Of course, there's a lot more stuff which you guys can go read up at yahoo news, e.g., "There are now 1.3 million foreigners living and working in Singapore, making up one-third of its population of 5.1 million". Some of the foreign students told me that they don't like Singapore at all. They are treating it as stepping stone and they will be moving to somewhere else if thing get worse here. Yet out of 116,000 jobs created last year, more than half were taken up by foreigners. Well, cost of living so damn high, how to accept a “low pay” job? Unless really No choice…But now, letting in of so much foreigners has now come fighting "low pay" jobs from us too, tell me what is it that’s left for us? It's making our life even more difficult. Putting the job issues aside, I really feel that Singapore is getting kind of overcrowded !!

Moreover, I feel threaten as LKY said Aljunied voters will "pay a price, the hard way" if they voted for the Opposition. Everyone in Singapore is paying taxes please, if we have an Opposition as our MP, we get no upgrading? Is this fair? How to get a positive comments or response if you speak something like that to us? We are Singaporean and we have our rights. I know their contributions to Singapore in the past till now, from village to a modern city, it's really great, appreciated.

But the past 5 years, we really should see what they had did and start to think, who is the right MP we should vote. Vote for the group whom you think are better and more capable in our respective GRC area, not just because you simply prefer “Oppose” blindly and not vote because you're a hard core for people wearing in white too. We can't just vote because of voting but vote wisely! Let’s do our part and stop complaining you have to vote on 7th May. Ultimately, we are voting for the country, our country.

But can’t blame, romance film have always been unrealistic most of the time. Oh ya, I prefer to watch in original soundtracks (leading actor and actress speaking in thier own dialect; in Mandarin, Cantonese and English).

Well, I have to admit that it has been a long time since I last watched a Hong Kong Romance film, thus despite not being the best comedy/romance film comparing to those in the past, I still like it.

Catch "Rio" the Movie

I went to watch “Rio 3D” the movie at Nax Mall. This movie come from the creator of “Ice Age”, a light-hearten movie for all age groups and is filled with humour and catchy songs. Here’s the summary, When Blu, a domesticated macaw from small-town Minnesota, meets the fiercely independent Jewel, he takes off on an adventure to Rio de Janeiro with this bird of his dreams. Set in the magnificent city of Rio de Janeiro and the lush rainforest of Brazil, the comedy-adventure centers on Blu, a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind. When Blu discovers there’s another – and that she’s a she – he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio. I personally like the movie very much and it make me feel like I’m in Brazil too. To add on, there are only a total of 8 people including me watching at that particular timing in cinema, great!

Xue Qi, Perfomance

My relative and I attended my cousin, Xue Qi (aka Potato), performance at Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' Secondary School. Well, victoria concert hall under renovation.

Xueqi is a member of Chinese dance so when it’s finally Chinese dance up for performance, we guys were like trying hard to spot her since everyone in the dance had the same hairstyle done. Luckily enough, Xueqi is the only one with a rubber band tie round her wrist and that’s make it easily for us. Hehe.

Basically I think her school did a great performance and her school band seems awesome. I’m kind of attracted to the music they were playing. Not only that, we guys actually noticed some students wearing LED glasses at the end of the concert! We going to get it someday and wear it erm… I don’t know when but I’m going to get LED shoelaces too, to match with that LED glasses. Haha. *garish

Joyce 22nd Birthday Celebration

It’s Joyce 22nd Birthday celebration and we guys went K-boxing at Hougang Plaza till the clock strike 3AM! As you can see in the picture, Joyce bravely took part in the beer competition with the other customers and she almost wins the 1st prize. The numbers in the picture indicate 4.88 sec not 4.88 minutes for your information. Well, I think the picture is pretty cool so it gonna be the picture of the day in this post.

After which, we decided to stay over at Joyce’s house and have breakfast/chatting before going home to catch some sleep. Of course, while on the way to her house, there’s pests like rat that gets Khim standing still on the same spot for minutes when we guys already walked for some distance, Haha, I was wondering when she’s going to make the first move. Somehow the rat must be wondering like I do thus run over to Khim and indeed, Khim starts jumping, hoping around with Yang. There’s a milk joke too while we shopping for breakfast at the NTUC nearby. I had no idea what’s the joke about but my face almost cramps because I laughed so much. Yes, we guys took almost an hour to reach Joyce’s house, HAHA!

Lastly, actually rats on street are dirty, even though I’m not really afraid of them, but I will never wants to get near them too. Next up will be KHIM’s birthday, very fast!

Movie Marathon

I’ve been re-watching file from the past years or even super wuper past years! There’s movie casted by twins and I love fighting scenes as well as god of gambler, Chow Yun-fat, so damn cool! Hmmm, All the movie are actually comedy except Confession (告白), a Japanese movie looking into the values of life and laws with the storyline of a teacher revenging for her daughter, each confession from different character will definitely keep you going.

Another movie which I would love to recommend will be “All about love 《得闲炒饭》”, a romance Comedy film, slow-paced or you may call it light romance which explores societal issues yet in a very hilarious way which will keep you entertained for the whole 105 min.

It has something to do with Homosexual but fear not, because there’s no gross or RA scene, very good! The part where 陈伟霆 William Chan casting as Mike holding the baby and crying, 吴君如 Sandra Ng casting as Macy who just can’t stay focus/serious in a long lasting relationship. It’s a great movie with great actors and actress, there’s even 万绮雯 Joey Meng . If you can’t remember Joey Meng, well, she’s the one starring as “Ma Xiao Ling (马小玲)”, ghost buster from the Ma family in “My date with a vampire series”, the one ridding all sorts of ghost and vampire! Last but not least, Vivian Chow 周慧敏, who retired from the Chinese showbiz for the past 13 years and now she’s back for this movie, still as graceful. All right, time for jogging!

Lim Pei Jin (I like to call her name in full), with Ai Ping, tour guided and accompanied me to Art Science museum at Marina Bay Sands, introducing the journey on trading route known to man, naming the history of Silk Road. This exhibition not only includes information where you can read and watch through the provided video, but also interactive learning as visitors gets to smell the different types of oil which had been selling in past marketplaces, or even a hand-on of an ancient astrolabe, (an early instrument used to observe the position and determine the altitude of the Sun or other celestial body) which I still have no idea how it actually works even though I've been trying to figure it out for sometime.

Of course, there’s still a lot more exhibition and you may proceed to enjoy the collection of Genghis Khan Artifacts where you gets to travel back to the 13th century of Mongolia. Genghis Khan is not only a well known conqueror but innovators. At the end of whole exhibition journey, you will get to see paper money and passport which we guys been using now, actually have something to do with Genghis Khan, great vision indeed. Well, not forgetting the highlight, the mummy! Yes, you’re able to see the mummy of a Mongolian aristocrat (member of elite social class) with her wallet and mirror etc found buried with her too.

I've been busy lately and must have missed some detail due to tiredness. I can’t really concentrate during the exploring of these exhibitions, so I guess I’m more than willing to visit it again if I have the time. Marina Bay Sands is way too far away from my house, I always complain, haha.

Xiu Mei’s belated birthday celebration

Hui Xian and I celebrated Xiu Mei’s birthday today, with Xiu Mei of course. I’m not sure what’s wrong with us because one having gastric, one stomach-ache and me having terrible headache at the end of the day, haha. All right, back to topic, we guys celebrated by dinning at “Nex Mall” pizza hut since Xiu Mei been craving for it and went to catch a movie “Just Go With It” starred by Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston after which.

It’s a romantic + comedy film, my favourite type of film! Well, I normally won't choose full romance type of movie if I had a choice. Actually “127 hours” seem good too but we wanted to have some good laugh thus decided to bought “Just Go with It” tickets instead. It’s a nice movie and comedy indeed. To be with someone who you don’t have to hide anything from him/her, isn’t it good? It’s tiring to live with lies. Okay, head to the cinema now guys! You will/might love this relaxing movie.

Dinner With FYP Mates

My FYP teammates and I finally meet up for chili crab today since we had been dragging it for more than a month or so! We guys went Kuishin Bo – Japanese Buffet located at Suntec City. There’s no chili crab actually so I think most probably we will be meeting up again very soon. The restaurant offers sushi and sashimi to Japanese noodles such as remen and desserts and many many more. It’s my 3rd visit there if I remember correctly.

Before I forget, I cut my hair today. My hair is not only long but messy and dry. So basically every morning I get so depress while looking at my hair in the mirror and finally decided heading straight to salon to get some help. I cut my hair, did treatment as well as soft re-borning.

I’ve been swinging my hair away in case my teammate can’t smell those strong chemical scents of my hair and the weird thing is, they seem to like it a lot because they continue clinging onto my arm. Hmm, my hairs actually grow very fast, so I decided to visit the salon every three months, not only to trim my hair but also treatment. Oh well, I’m really feeling dizzy due to the strong chemical and tired with a full stomach right now…Good Night!

C.S.I: The Experience

Hello! Grace and I visited science centre for “C.S.I: The experience” exhibition today because we believe we have more than what it takes to analyse forensic evidences and finding out the culprit of a crime.

There are four crime scenes but we only had enough time to crack 3 cases. I was hopping for more time given since it’s the last day of this exhibition but sadly, once the clock strike 6 o’clock, 90% of the staffs just disappeared, vanish in the air.

So we can’t get our certificate as well as shopping for C.S.I material/stuffs/gift. I had the urge to force open the gate and get myself that C.S.I cup, yet ~~coward~~ decided to follow Singapore’s law since I’m a good citizen. We should have visited earlier, be it in term of date or time. Still, it’s was fun and we gained some knowledge too, e.g, fingerprints aren’t the only type of evidence collected as fibres and etc are also important clue to solve the case. Or examine what’s the weapon used by considering the blood scattered at the surrounding or from the dead and some key evidence are actually naked to human eyes. You might find me talking crap here because who don’t know fibres and so on can be important evidence too? But there’s really a lot more you not know about.

All right, I shall end this post with what C.S.I crew would always end with their sentence too, “Remember, the dead can't speak for themselves. Listen to what the evidence is saying”.

Remember the days during childhood

Hi guys, how’re you feeling today? I’m having terrible headache. The weather been kind of warm and there’s seem to be construction work going on somewhere near my block thus causing noise pollution, it’s so loud making my headache a even worst one.

My mum advice me to consume some pain killer but well, some nerves in my brain agree that chocolate could help so I went to buy chocolate instead. Went Gerald’s house for a game of Majiong with Pei Jin and Quak Quak (Hope I spelled it correctly). It’s the first time in my life playing 20 40 cents and I lose 10Bucks, consider a lot but shall take it as majiong fee then, since the player had been such a pro and I actually learn something out of it.

We guys then decided to catch a movie at “Nex” shopping Mall, “What Women Want” casted by Andy Lau and Gong Li. It’s almost a two hours movie and I would give 2.5 out of 5 if I were to rate it. I have the urge of falling sleep during the movie because it’s not only boring, but more boring.

The romance between Andy Lau and Gong Li just don’t seem right. Worst, after knowing that the mysterious MSN secret admirer 007 turn out to be a job hunter just turn me even more off. Beside the romance part, I still have no idea what does that Angelfish got to do with Andy Lau ability of listening to the inner thoughts of women. Been trying to persuade myself and make some sense out of it yet after the whole movie ended still to no available. If it’s not for the fact that Andy Lau and Gong Li being the actor and actress, I bet I will never ever fork out money to watch such a film.

Time flies, I’m now 22 years old? 28th Jan, I had Hui Xian and Xiu Mei celebrating my Birthday and we guys went Serangoon “Nex Mall”. It’s my first visit and it’s kind of spacious. Well, got to arrange a steamboat session with them soon since it’s always a talk but no action stuff, lol.

29th Jan, Meet up with my usual cliques to “Play Nation”, previously known as “The Hangout” located at 64 Prinsep Street. We guys played all sort of console as well as bored games in the cozy themed room cater to bigger group like us. I kind of aware that Khim and Hui Xian must have went to buy me a cake and that’s basically very thoughtful of them. Of course I’m happy!

31st Jan, I had peijin celebrating my birthday with me on the actual day and it’s really a surprise because I didn’t expect her to show up with the cake at my living room when I thought she’s still in the kitchen. I was still checking out the food which she brought and suddenly the light went out, that was fast, incredibly speed! I thought that’s silly, but it sweet of her doing so. I was actually smiling to myself, like nerd Haha..

1st Feb, Meet up with Ashley and I received a Psyduck keychain. I noticed my name being engraved only when he told me, haha. Seriously, “Ding Din Feng” fried rice should be a portion for two, don’t you guys think so? *Stomach bursting*

I’m grateful for my friends taking time celebrating my birthday and I appreciated all of them, no joke. Besides having them and received my present, I got myself a “Play Nation Membership Card” too! Awesome!

P.s, Please don't give me belated present when my birthday is already over a week, thanks for the thoughts but it's okay.

Hello intellectual people, how’s your weekend going? Mine seems fantastic! Nothing beat staying at home relaxing the day off, Ah ha, my favorite!

Erm… Perhaps not that extremely fantastic if I was to be calculative regarding small matter which just has to happen. You know what? This evening I could sense this cute invisible little angel name “Lucky” flying round me which mean I just have to do something in order not to let this little heavenly being getting disappoint, by betting 4D.

To cut the story short, I actually pass my mum the 10 pairs of number which I wrote within minutes as well as 10 dollar bucks so that she would help me to buy those 4D, she agreed. So the 4D result are out and indeed I’m right about that little angel being lucky, 7373 opened! *Garish*

She totally lost me when she says the number had sold out and I was there asking for evidence. Ha, I was right about it, she didn’t help me to buy! It kind of boggles my mind for a minute or so, but not for long. Well, I don’t have the habit of buying 4D so she will probably takes my words seriously when the next time I need her help about it. For now, let’s wave good bye to the $250. Do take it easy if you’re thinking that the little angel might be feeling hurt due to it failed mission of giving luck and decided to leave me for good, below is what it wrote for me,

Yang Zi's 22nd Birthday Celebration

Today is the celebration of Yang Zi Birthday! All right, we guys went KBOX Scape for singing session and what make us even happier was because it cost us only $6.60 per person, starting from 6pm to 8.30pm. I guess it’s a virtue to have “good” saving habit even though most of us in the group had actually started working.

Alright, it’s obvious that Kpop are still getting popular nowadays and I actually find Kpop a nice method for heating up atmosphere, Example; Fire by 2NE1 or Hot Issues by 4mintus and many many more. A pity that I can’t find lies by Big bang because I find the chorus part quite catching and everyone will definitely goes “I’m so sorry but I love you like a jing ma”, together! *Imagine it*

We guys went for dinner at Waraku as well as dessert after meeting up with Nicholas and then spending our time chatting till mid-night before we finally said good bye as we have school and work the next day. Well, I bet everyone had a great day because I did! HAHA! Heading to bed, Good night!

Today, while trying to withdraw money with Peijin at Hougang Green POSB machine, a woman actually left $120 for me because she walked away after taking her card but not her receipt and cash. So the machine gave out that “Beep beep beep beep” sound and my card just can’t go in which make me kind of pissed off, never did I know that there’s money until I looked down. I immediately shouted “That woman forgets her money!” and ran off finding her. She thanked me. Although after returning I feel kind of regret, but if I’m given a second chance, I would still choose returning it to her. Not because I’m nice, it’s just some other thing... I can’t explain.

Hmmm...Whatever it is, I gotta start preparing to meet up with YangZi etc, it's finally yangzi Birthday! Wa! *Blow candles*

I accompanied my mum today to ermm…Buddhist dinner? It’s not my first time attending it anyway, I remembered there’s once back at my previous town Bukit Batok when I’m still a kid. I don’t know what’s that event called but it’s a dinner where you actually had waitress serving your food up on your table and you can see people participating in bid; eg, television, orange, or environment beauty stuff.

The foods are okay and I wanted to say, MP was there too, kind of surprising for me. HAHA! Well, I think Singaporean somewhat rich you know? Paying 5 “lucky” orange at $168, wine at $2000 and “Peace” hanging cloth flag with two lanterns attached reaching almost at $3000. While eating I’m actually wondering why and what makes them bid so willingly but from what I heard, the money will goes to charity purposes so that’s good anyway.

Huixian and I then move on meeting our usual clique at hougang Mall for dinner and birthday present at Plaza Sing. Huixian is overwhelmed when she received her present, itouch, her always wanted stuff. She was smiling non-stop for that few min and can totally feel that happiness spreading, coming from her. Nicholas Lim came over to meet us in a later time as he’s having stomach flu, so he missed out Joyce treat, GAINT VOLCANO! Hmmm…I can’t remember the actual name though…But that’s ice cream for sure.

After which the 7 of us decided to catch Mark Lee directed movie, “That ghost must be crazy” along with Khim Cheng friends, Michelle at AMK. It’s more of Comedy yet less Horror type of movie so I guess it’s suitable for people like me who dislike paying movie ticket just to experience the scared process and then having problem falling sleep when the night come. Okay, the movie has two different stories entitled "The Day Off" and "The Ghost Bride".

I prefer the first story, “The Day Off” than “The Ghost Bride”. For “The Day Off” they actually speak in Hokkien most of the time and it’s funnier while “The ghost Bride” to me is more of disturbing feel rather than funny and Henry Thia still playing his role as a typical uncle? Hmmm…I wonder when he can ever receive a different kind of role for him to try ah? Well, if you are someone who have watched quite a few horror movies before and are familiar with Mark lee or Jack neo style of comedy, then it’s not very difficult for you to be able to predict the plot as the movie goes. Overall, it’s still an enjoyable movie to catch it with family or friends.

It’s already past mid-night when we guys finished the movie, luckily and thankfully we had Michelle driving us home with her family car and that saved our pocket! Hehe.

Xiu Mei House Warming Party

Hi, let me greet you guys a Happy New year before I start on my very first post in Year 2011. HAHA! On this first day, I’m honoured to be invited to XiuMei house warming party with Huixian and then moving on to the celebration of Huixian 22th Birthday with my usual cliques. Wow, an eventful day ya?

Both Xiumei’s parents are still hospitable as before and her new house is definitely much bigger and far more comfortable compare to her previous flat. Other than the house, Xiumei’s dad surprised me too because all the food are actually freshly cooked by him and then served out on the guest table (3 tables), for that moment I feel as if I'm in some kind of highly rated restaurants? When I say “Freshly cooked”, I really mean it. From the time I stepped into the house and to the time I say goodbye, probably 3 hours plus, you can see her dad still busy cooking in the kitchen and every few minutes later, new dishes will be carried out when there’s still tons of unfinished food.

Since Huixian told me that the seafood were all fresh because she spotted alive fishes in the kitchen, I immediately went in and interviewed her dad. I assume the whole family must have probably went fishing early in the morning but her dad told me he actually ordered the ingredients from his friend restaurants and no house warming gift will be accepted. You can tell, they did their best and all they wanted or hoping for is to see the guests smiling, enjoying the food and every minutes of their stay. That's going to be the best ever returned/thank you gift for them. Very sincerely, very nice, very nice host, really appreciated it.

There’s crab, all sort of vegetables dishes, steamed and fried Prawns, Steamed Fish, Duck meat, chicken, clam… The only missing food is? RICE! Both Huixian and I forgot to request for it, a pity. We realised it only after we left the house and lastly, I lose $1.50 to Xiumei while playing Blackjack. Can’t believe I lose to a first time noob player. HAHA! In case you’re wondering, Xiumei’s dad is a chef.

HoHoHo~ 12 peoples including me gathered at Weina’s house today with our present on hand, not only ready for present exchange but also game, photo taking, as well as stuffing our stomach with all the delicious food! Since we guys came from a same secondary school so it’s actually difficult for us NOT to gossips about the past and present. Haha, indeed, we spend almost 3/4 of the time chatting, be it rumors, political, story-telling, well...I remember channel U were casting F4 drama so we must have chatted from about 11.30PM to 6AM, the next morning. Bet you can imagine how much stuffs we must have shared with one another.

It’s quite a nice feeling to recall back the past which we guys spent during secondary school days. Since it’s late at night thus everyone been trying hard to lower down their volume but each time when it’s your turn to speak or when things gets so high, the volume just went up up up again. You know, everyone shouting from their seat, for that moment we definitely turned the house into a wet market!

Finally! 4 more days, let it snow let it snow let it snow~

Christmas cards

Hi, what are your plans for this coming Christmas? I did not plan to do anything this year because I long for a white Christmas. Spending my day at a places where there’s snow, white snow, having turkey and red wine, sitting near a fireplace, watching the snow fall silently through the window or something like that. I has never seen a real snow before, wonder how it feel..

Nevertheless, this year I actually design 10 simple hand-makes cards for some of my friends, a key chain with their name carved behind as a small gift, attached to the card. The key chain selling in the store are limited, I don’t really love buying a same keychain for two different friends. Well, Every friend is special in their own ways and I really had a hard time choosing what kind of design to get for each different person.

Hmmm..I wonder whether postman going to have their day off on Christmas? I guess they did, thus mailed those cards today so that my friends would be able to receive it somewhere nearer to the date of Christmas, maybe two days later from now. Are you one of the lucky 10 this year? Haha, Happy Christmas!

I always wanted to get myself that “sim3” game but no, it been a years plus and I still haven’t get to own it. One of the reasons which make me like about sim game is because I can get to design/build a house. What kind of wallpaper should I put, what kind of style should this house be? How should my garden look like? Will there be enough space if I put it here? I’m not a creative person although I hope I am. However, I still love to play with furniture. ^^

All right, this time there’s a adventure pack where you can get to explore ancient tombs in the pyramids of Egypt, master martial arts in the Far East, and discover rich culture and famous landmarks of France. Seem interesting.

Finally FYP presentation is all over! Congratulation to my teammate as well as me, myself! I actually woke up very late because I just can’t fall asleep the night before, end up sleeping around 8am plus. For goodness sake, my FYP presentation starts at 12pm! I’m neither nervous nor excited but I just can’t fall sleep. Wondering why…

So as expected, there’s no cab. Or should I put it this way, all the cab is hired otherwise changing shift. To make it worst, there are actually people on street waiting for cab too, no matter where I choose to wait. Rich or what? Sigh.

I wanted to give up all that cab waiting stuff and present it all by myself on another day. But my teammates phoned me and told me to go no matter what. Therefore I decided to try snatching cab and yes, I’m just a little bit late (10min) I guess. Hopefully my grade would not be affected much.

Some of my teammates have not yet get to taste black pepper crab and therefore we decided to organize a black pepper crab eating session right after one of my teammate reaches Singapore. We will be having it at my teammate workplace, a hotel or restaurant, there's going to be discount so why not? It’s should be two weeks later if I’m not wrong. That’s nice, crab!

First Time Ever

My first time ever, watching Movie alone! I always wanted to do so but I did not. So today, I did it! I’m feeling so excited and nervous after I bought the ticket. It’s like holding a first prize winning ticket rather than just a normal movie ticket, really wonder how it’s going to be. Will it be boring? Or scary? Haha, I’m just so happy and can’t wait for the movie to start immediately.

Well, I'm watching "Tangled 3D", there are actually not many people therefore while watching, I feel as if I own the whole cinema, that feeling is totally awesome! I’m sitting back and it's relaxing. After the whole movie ended, I feel myself being re-charged. Energetic once again! Great experience seriously. ^^

Meet up with my cliques today for prawning at Bishan after dinner. It’s my first visit there and I actually read up an article regarding prawning tips from Yangzi’s iphone while trying to lure those prawn near my bait. After reading it does explains the loud background music being played near the pond as I first thought that music was to entertain customers, which turn out otherwise.

All right, we guys prawn for 3 hours till mid night and decided to BBQ them since no one wanted to bring those prawns home. Huixian peeled the hot cooked prawn for me and I have to says, it's really delicious, fresh and sweet. I really enjoyed prawning even though I may get a little depress which came along with a few nag due to waiting. loll.
E.g, “Where are the prawns?”, “What took the prawns so long?” etc.

Well, mumbling to myself wasn’t that bad after all because those prawns seem to understand and thus started pitying me by hooking themselves to my bait instead of others almost each time I finished my ~~nagging~~ sentence.

Ashley and I went Vivo for dinner at “Earle Swensen’s Restaurant”. Guess what? That whole meal cost freaky $100 (rounded up). I still can’t really accept this fact actually. So after dinner, we decided to catch a movie “Megamind 3D”. When I first saw this movie trailer, I’m not at all interested nor find it exciting. So I basically went in the cinema with a very restless mood, not expecting much even though we got a very good seat, center seat at middle row.

But now, I’m totally in love with this animation. I love their little humor here and there, it brings laughter, just that nice to feel distressed. Well, probably because I did not know how’s the story goes or paying attention to the trailer before thus the story plot happen to make me kind of surprise for a animation. I seriously thought it’s was all about justice fighting a super villain (Megamind), good versus evil. I find myself falling in love with those characters casting in the movie. Yes, every one of them. Those relationships like love and friendship, between what is right and wrong, good or bad…and so on.

I will very much love to watch it again and if Santa Claus really does exist, I wish to ask for that watch where Megamind is wearing through out the show, please...

I went out with XiuMei today, to AMK hub. Since it’s AMK hub so I am really wearing my home clothes and accompanying her to buy a new phone and thought that’s it. But the phone selling at AMK without contract are really kind of expensive and therefore I told her that Vivo city, singtel store are selling many types of different phones without contract at a lower price.

When I told her about vivo city I actually thought she will buy it the next time when she’s free but NO, she drag me along straight away. So I went Vivo with her with my home clothes and I keep telling her that if there’s media crew or something filming about fashion, I am going to be the first that they will pick to interview, I will be on T.v!

Nevertheless, she brought two phones, one for herself and another one for her mum. I brought one too for my mum since she had been telling me that she would like to have a small flip phone. I was thinking to give it to her on Christmas day, a surprise for her but I really can’t stop feeling excited, wanting to see her reaction when she see the phone. Therefore I will most probably give her the phone the very next day. Well, Xiumei is really one potential shopper and she got both of us a lot free gift from the store, things like free memory card, bluetooth etc etc..

After which, both of us meet up with Huixian for dinner at Ave 8 coffee shop.

Ashley's 21st Birthday Celebration

It’s Ashley’s 21st birthday celebration today. I thought I was going all alone but P.j wanted to attend it with me out of the sudden. I’m glad to have her accompanies.

After we gave him our present we then process to the food and then the cake. I brought one musical piano and another one small crystal piano display for his present. Oh ya, while we were taking photo, Zheng Liang was asking me not to block his face, end up I still did. I thought he’s standing closer to Jerry therefore shifted my head near to PeIjin. Haha! So, after the cutting of cake session, Ashley actually thanks the guests by playing two musical piano pieces which is “God know” and “wedding dress”. That’s nice. While he’s playing, I see how both his left and right hand landing on different key. I can’t imagine if I’m the one playing, my hand probably be cramping the way.

It’s thoughtful of Ashley to keep on coming up to us, telling me that the “Mahjong” table will be setting up soon as we guys are waiting every single minute. The next moment, I’m in the game. Anyway, I did not win in the end but it was fun, at least I had something for me to stay focus on. Long Sheng was the big loser but he’s also one who brings laughter, I can’t stop laughing. Then Alan was sleepy and keeps playing with the “Mahjong” tiles as if he is playing “Lego”.

Joyce was asking if we guys wanted to watch "Piranha 3-D", it’s a R21 movie. I was reading up the review and I think I will give it a miss even though I really wanted to meet up with them. I don’t feel like taking any chances of being “uneasy” again. I admit, they are much more braver than me. (:

I watched “Halloween 2”, last year if I’m not wrong, that's a total bad experience. The whole movie, it’s creepy and scary for me. I remember when the movie finally ended, I was still kind of “unstable”, can’t imagine if it’s real life. I have the urge to leave the cinema while in the middle of movie, but I did not do so because I know they will most probably came looking for me or accompanying me, spoiling their movie/mood is never something I wish to do. However, I told myself to choose the right movie for myself the very next time. Perhaps it’s because I don’t normally watch this kind of violent movie since young but seriously, I don’t feel good after watching it. Same goes to Ghost movie, as long as there’s killing and blood everywhere, too scary for me to take it, I just hate it.

I’ve been watching more of Hong Kong movie since young, comedy movie, that’s what I like most. I still remember how gambler king in the movie rubs their card with their hand and then the card changes, that’s just so cool. During that period, even if it’s some killer type of movie, the screen was still okay, not that bloody or violent. But as the technology and skills of making movie improved, everything just gets even real. Hmmm…

Meet up with peijin and two of her friends for Korean BBQ meal. The two of them were friendly. Wells, we ordered two set of meal which includes both chicken set and pork set. Of course, each set meal come with rice, noodles, pancake, vegetable and 10 side dishes etc. I was thinking when we can actually finish all the food because it’s like each time we finish one plate, another one come. There’s just so much food and I was there eating non-stop since I had no much topic to talk with them also. Therefore most of the time I’m listening and seriously, my stomach were in a super big size after we walked out of the restaurant. After which we went over to one of Peijin friend’s house and her house is huge/large! There’s even lift. That kind of house where I can only get to see them in my "Sim game" and now, I see it for real. I did not get to explore the whole house as time is running out. We went to the basement and started our Majiong in no time. This basement has all sort of games, t.v, pool and so on. I guess they never get troubled of wondering whether their furniture would take up space when come to decorating it, because I did for my flat. Haha.

Ai Zhen's 22nd Birthday Celebration

It’s Ai Zhen 22nd birthday celebration. She’s the head for leading birthday in our group. Very soon, everyone will start turning 22 year olds. We went Marina Keppel Bay for drinking and I ordered a root beer simply because I had no idea which alcohol drink to order. The scenery and everything there were nice, if I ever go there again, I will order some alcohol instead of root beer.

All right, Ai Zhen had a taste of a special one since she’s the birthday girl, I don’t know what the name of the drink is, but there’s fire burning on the surface of the drink and she would have to drink it straight. None was drunk but many had their stomach bloated, at least I have Yangzi and Nicolas joining me in the “Non-Bloated” group. We moved on and cab to Geylang 126 Dim Sum for supper.

Guess what?! That’s the place where I visited with Pei Jin and Alvin when I’m still working at KFC, age 15 or 16. I still remember there’s a robbing accident on the other side of the road. The robbery was trying to snatch the girl handbag by using force and violent. While the other customers just sit and watch, Alvin was the one who stand and shouted at the robber then the others followed, this scares the robbery, the girl is thus safe. Pei Jin and me had quite a fright since we was still young and first time watching “live robbery”.

Okay, we cab home after we had out stomach filled with delicious food and I’m very great that I visited Marina Keppel Bay and once again, Geylang 126!

We attended “J” twin’s 21st Birthday celebration! Joanne had a “super Mario” look while Joel goes for a “pop star” image with that ~~Maggie~~ 60s pop hair style. I was supposed to wear white as I’m a friend of both “Jo” yet I totally had this theme forgotten until Yangzi reminded me. When we first reach I though I’m attending some wedding because there’s a reception and you will have to hand the present to them and then on the spot design a note with the Poloriod photos which was taken earlier with the birthday twin.

The two birthday sibling was busy with photo taking, which is definitely one of their hobby or favorite, Joel did something which caught our attention “Singing”. He actually wrote a song to thanks Joanne, his few min older sisters for putting in so much effort for this birthday party as he’s busy in HTA. Then, the music played and here he goes~, that was quite a touching move.

Finally, few more days later I guess it will be my first time attending the first 22nd birthday celebration of Ai Zhen after so much 21st celebration one. Randomly, few more months will be my turn again, 22nd and I looking forward to Chinese New Year now! Gong Xi ya Gong Xi~

Its Peijin day off hence she suggested going JB today, just a short getaway from Singapore. As usual, she had been rushing me to get ready fast so that we could set off earlier. We took a cab to the checkpoint and since it’s not the usual way where Jin travel to, after we alighted from the cab, she thus suggested following the only guy in front of us and hopefully the place he’s heading to will eventually lead us to the correct way as we wanted. Guess what? We smartly placed our bet on the right guy!

It’s a pity because both of us were short of Malaysia ringgit after shopped at “Mango”. It’s silly because in the first place we thought that little hundred sing dollar was enough for us to spend the whole day. Immediately, looking for POSB machines came across our mind and true enough, the service counter staffs confirmed that there’s no such machine. That’s how our shopping trip ended unpredictably. We should have withdrawn few hundred more sing dollar in the first place. Do think I was still thinking of walking into some high-class hotel to fill my stomach. Then, we can’t even get to enjoy our seafood which we suppose to eat as planned earlier. It’s still enjoyable, though.

Before I forget, I was messaging Huixian and indeed, I should start loving myself because I use to have that point remembered, forgotten.

We having picnic for Nicholas’s 21st birthday celebration. It's kind of weird because the background somehow wasn't what we first imagined it to be. The grass supposed to be very neat, clean and green. But it's okay. I was supposed to make Sushi but things did not turn out smooth for me thus decided to pack everything up and they just have to make those sushi hand rolls themselves. I decided something, which is learn to make delicious sushi.

Nicholas requested every one of us to write him a letter since we guys did not really meet up often. This sound like a great one and it makes me feel like requesting one too for my birthday next year. Other than pitting up those fats from the food we eat, we move on to the next event which is “fats reducing session”, by playing madly at the nearby playground. Conclusion? Comparing to the time where we're still a secondary school student, our stamina really dropped.

All of us went over to Joyce’s house for cake and present session. After which? Haha, You bet, we guys can talk real lots and long, till the next morning 6am plus. Powerful hor!

I wake up real early in the morning and was busy preparing for today presentation at Botanic Garden. To be frank, I am very reluctant to go for the presentation. It have been so many weeks after I have finish my actual presentation grading for this project. Moreover, my mind don’t have the habit of locking up whatever school stuff which I’m not quite interested in head more than 2 days. Even so, I still have to go, especially for the responsibility of being the leader in the group.

Meet up with Grace and finally, I received the last version of “Diary of a wimpy kid”. For your information, it’s hardcover! Don’t ask me why I insist a hardcover one because I just prefer my book to be that hard. Whenever I walk pass my table and saw the other three sets of the book lying there, it makes me wonder when I will ever own the last copy even though I believe Grace is one who’ll keep to her word. Yet, as the hardcover in Singapore is out of stock and the staffs in the shop tells me that the books won’t be shipping in anymore just give me that 2% worries.

I can’t help but finish reading the first page of the book right after I received it. The book state about some “New Year resolution” stuff and this make me realise I had never made any resolution, ever! Well, I feel like listing some right now. Yes, I mean now, Perhaps calls it a “pre-new year resolution”.

Keep a Pet!

Pomeranian! I so wanted to keep a pet! Actually I think not much people around me know I love animals. I don't talk about it. I will not really touch or play with stray cats, or do I play with my friend’s pet. I don’t play with stray cat because sometime they are quite dirty and as I have to wash my hand each time I play with stray cats, all the more I have to had my hand washed when I have my friends around me because some friends actually mind, it’s so troublesome.

I don’t quite play with my friend’s pet too not because I’m afraid of the pet. It’s because I’m afraid I might hurt the pet since I don't really know the pet habit or scares etc. No matter what, it’s still my friend pet, somehow or someway, I don’t feel comfortable to play with. What if later friends get angry for so whatever reason? Well, you won’t know. Better to play safe.

Beside dogs, cats, rabbit, duck etc, I love fish too! I use to keep a female fighting fish because my friend wanted to throw it away thus I adopt it. Well, since it’s a female fighting fish therefore you can actually imagine how dull the fish colour is and that's the reason why my friend started getting sick of the fish. Come to think of it, I do wonder why she buys it in the first place since that's the case. Nevertheless, believe it not, I tend to talk to them or silently watch them swim in the tank here and there up to an hour. Haha, don’t ask me why.

Even though I very much wanted to keep a pet, but I know it’s not the time still. I’m not well-prepared to have a pet, be it financially, manually or knowledgably. Keeping a pets require responsibility and your love, it’s not just a come and go thing, it’s your very best friend in your lifetime.

Lawrence is flying away tomorrow so here's my last chance to have dinner with him and Puay choon together! We wanted to have our buffet dinner at "Marina mandarin hotel" but it was fully booked by the time we call. Sigh, thus we decided to go to a restaurant which is located at Marina Square too, which is "Pariss International Seafood Buffet Restaurant".

It's my second visit there and somehow, the food taste nicer compare to my first visit. I eaten a lot different favour crab today and I think I won't be eating crab anymore for the next coming few months. Full!

We move on to K box after shopped for sometime. Wa, totally enjoyed! Anyway, I spend sometime to did a MMS when I reached home for Mr. Lawrence as he won't be coming back for four months, that's very long. Hope he like it and I do wonder will he miss Singapore and Us not..

I was afraid he would get too tanned when he came back thus I reminded him to apply sunblock over there if the sun gets too strong. Haha, Hope he really do. =p

Been donkey years since I last watch a movie from a disc, therefore, I decided to stay in home to enjoy some DVD movies on this fine sunny Sunday!

I was climbing up and down looking for the long lost DVD player hiding somewhere in my house. After which, I browse through my drawer wondering what to watch. Suddenly! I remember the three movies which Alan lent me a few months ago! They were all love stories so I close my eyes and picked "The Notebook" out of the three choices.

When the movie played till halfway, my mum came back home. I did not cried much but Somehow; my tear dropped mostly when the screen starts filming the aged Noah and Allie at the very back, not the time where they are young. When the nurse told Allie she can play piano, When Allie finally remember everything and says “It’s was us”. Oh god, how touching but heartbreaking at the same time.

I guess my mum probably decided to check on me since she keeps hearing the *Sniff Sniff sound make by my nose. Then indeed, she totally shock, asked and looking at me as if I’m mad or something. Oh god, her expression, it’s so funny and I can’t stop myself from laughing yet crying! I very much wanted to explain the story to her but I can’t, all the word seems choked when it reaches my throat. I tried times and times but nothing seem to comes out right. -_-"

I can't believe this. After I went up the cab, I took out my letter with the Police headquarter address printed on it to the driver, he smartly spotted the date! Sigh! The briefing is scheduled on next Saturday and not today. Do think I still wake up so early...

Weina's 21st!

Finally, it’s weina's 21st birthday celebration! If it's not for the fact that I have thing on in the morning, I believe I could reach even earlier. Anyway, I kinda like NSRCC chalet because it’s big enough and clean. When I reached, I can’t stop helping myself to the food, especially the fried fish and prawn! Not much people seem to like the prawn probably because they find it not that tasty otherwise lazy to shed the prawn shell. Well, I’m one of them who belong to the “lazy shed shell” group but this time, Nope, I’m not lazy.

While Weina is arranging her present, this Joel keeps holding on to the camera focusing here and there, taking picture everywhere and anywhere. This really makes me wonder what kind of artistic photo will he produce, lol. Here's one polaroid photo which we taken at late night where almost every guests went home already.

All right, luckily I have Joanne driving me home at around 3.30am and this help me saved up the cab fare. Since I have police briefing to attend at 9am tomorrow, I thus can't stay over even thought there's no need for schooling the next day. And now, it’s better for me to catch a few hours’ sleeps before preparing to go out again with my panda's eyes, nighty!

Pei Jin's 21st!

Today it's Lim Pei Jin big day, her 21st birthday celebration! The chalet is really big and I think it can occupy at least 50 peoples. Since it's so big, I bet she had a hard time decorating it too. So, I gave her the drawing as well as the present. I have that painting displayed at the front door. What makes me happy was, most of the people find the drawing nice, or at least appreciated my work as much as pei Jin do. The painting was not yet totally dry thus you can imagine how worried I was whenever I saw some guests started touching the painting with their hand.

In case you guys are wondering what I brought for her birthday, its Ipod Nano. I actually hold back in the shop when buying the Ipod. Its like, should I get her a blue or a pink one? Therefore I'm in the shop comparing the two different sample colour over and over again. The conclusion, I got her a pink colour Ipod, reason because I just find it a lot nicer. Anyway, I bet she need some time before getting use or accept the colour.

Before I forgot, someone really eaten up my slice of cake which has the most cream on it, I wonder who actually dare to eat up those ~~fats~~ cream like I do. My cream~ loll.

Pretty Hectic

Thing have been pretty hectic for me this week. I even broke my record by being awake for 43hours! All right, After Khim's birthday, coming up next will be Pei Jin's and Weina's 21st Birthday. I had been travelling to different places and seriously, my legs do feel pain and tired yet great that I have finally brought their presents. Randomly, Joanne and I each have eaten 3 $1 Hotdog located at Ikea while shopping for Weina’s gift. Even though it’s not the first time I’ve been to Ikea, but it’s the first time I brought their hotdog, taste better than I first thought! I guess if I ever brought that hotdog again, Joanne would be the first that come across my mind, definitely. Haha.

Well, despite getting a present, what I really wanted is, is to do something that’s created by me, something more than just a simple birthday card, something priceless. Thus the next to-do list is to finish working on that drawing which I'm going give it to Jin along with the present on that day itself. This art piece which I’m working on sure takes up my time and is kinda killing my brain cells bit by bit.

Firstly, I’m not one who is talented in art. I had been trying to brainstorm a design which is at least presentable yet easy for me to work on. Moreover, this art broad is about the size of A2, which mean I have to draw it big and I’m really afraid I have to re-do it if anything goes wrong. Putting aside the reason that I have no extra broad to work on, it’s actually more on the fact that I have no extra time to re-do since time is running out.

Nevertheless, I will try my best. Hope that day is a successful one and she would like everything I (as well as my cousin) did for her when she receives the art piece. But before that, I better catch some nap now. Night!

Khim Cheng's 21st!

It's Khim Cheng 21st birthday celebration! It has been quite some time since we guys last meet up together as a whole. The food were great and I like the idea which khim have all the photo taken with her guests being hanged up on the wall. It's like, you have so many people celebrating your birthday with you and everything looks kinda...beautiful. I believe years later if she ever views the photos again, it's sure bring back lots of memories, sweet!

Wells, some of us gained some weight while others remain the same. I guess I’m one of them which gained weight because while everyone of us was happily waiting for khim to cut her cake, that Nicholas suddenly pop out a question asking what happened to my face because it seem bloated?? Damn, he even added that my eyes become smaller due to my bloated face! So, I guess it’s better for me to starts working out. Be it for the sake of my health or getting ready as a police volunteer.

Oh ya, Did I mention? I love the buffet, BBQ food and Khim's birthday cake! Scrumptious!!

Did you guys watch the passion fruit drink advertisement for Heaven and earth brand? In the advertisement there's this guy working as a retail asst and then he's complaining how the drink is selling at such a fast speed till he have to keep on supplying the stock and hardly get to rest.

After having dinner with Hui Xian and Xiu Mei, we went to NTUC and they wanted to buy this passion Fruit drink and praising how great the taste were. So I ask them what's that drink? This Hui Xian immediately act out the advertisement and I was at there: "ORHHH.... That drink!! HAHAAHA!!" Damn funny!"

Then I observe and indeed, I think this drink is really kind of popular! Look at the picture! Selling fast! HAHA!!

Final Year project (FYP) presentation

It's my FYP 1 presentation today! Finally, we get to present the stuffs which we had been researching and working hard for the past few months. I was hoping everything could end fast because it’s very tiring as you have to present your poster to 6 different advisers (4 hours) and while presenting, I'm like starving. I'm so afraid my stomach would start growling because it can get so embarrassing! Almost each time while I'm having exam, my stomach would start to give out that growl sound and it get so loud till the classmate which is sitting beside me starts giving me a "Hello, can you stop or not?" expression. I bet my classmate must have been feeling irritated somehow? But come on, it's really difficult to control the hunger okay, moreover the sound..

So, I guess everything turn out well. Oh ya, I watched "Toy story 3" today even though I can't remember watching the two previous part of "Toy Story" in my life. The movie is nice, I get so nervous when the toys are trying to escape from the evil and touched when they are like going to get burn in the fire. Be it silly or not, I really did start wondering whether my toys have those emotional feeling too after the whole movie ended. Hmmm...

Today I had my biosenser lesson missed. Actually it's not a big deal for me to say that I have this or that lesson missed anyway. However, I still attended today FYP meeting. It's weird because my team mate and I would always link whatever topic we were talking in the first place to a "ghost" topic. It's always creep us out and yet we just can't stop chatting about it.

All right, so today YaJie told me that if you ever wanted to diet, just have to tell yourself that "I'm slim" everyday and eventually, you will! I believe this somehow because frankly speaking, you should never underestimate human brain. So during the meeting everyone of us was like "I'm skinny", "I'm smart" and so on. well, kinda of praising and it really does make us thick skinned. Haha.
